Good to see a happy post from you. Sounds like the usual long description by medical personnel could have really been said in a couple of understandable words.

Take it easy at work Carol.

hi guys
GOOD NEWS GOOD NEWS
well im going back to work, doc says give it a go if i cant cope go back to see him
the mri shows a "small posterolateral osteophyte narrowing right c4 nerve root canal but not encroaching the nerve root" (if anyone can translate that) but most importantly "no evidence of any acute changes"
he also had a look at my ear and says there is a build up of fluid behind my eardrum and given me some decongestion tablets he seamed surprised that it wasnt painfull but i think probily masked by other pain
cheque not arriveed yet but hey not a bad day Very Happy
thanks for all the support guys

take care
xx

My hubby suffers from tinitus which has stopped him wearing his hearing aid. He notices more at night because of the silence of everything else.

Great Carol, delighted to hear you are staying positive, keeping everything crossed that its is great news tomorrow.

Tinnitus, I think this is more common than we think. In fact I think I suffer a bit from it (though have never looked into it), my paternal grandmother had severe tinnitus, a cousin and a friend who has fibro also has it...so it seems across the board. Apparently there is some site on the internet that you can go onto, plug in your headphone to your computer, pay a £/€ or so and it gives a blast of a high frequency sound which helps for a few weeks...might be something to look into. I'll try find the site for you.

xx
